I agree but there might be more herd immunity by 2022 then 2021. I also don't fancy the idea of spending thousands of pounds on a holiday to wear a facemask. Hence the reason I think my family will wait a little while longer.

We have provisional re-booked for next may. We had cancelled at a loss of our deposit (VH) however decided to transfer our funds (inc deposit) to a new booking. It felt safer doing that if VH were to cease trading, I would be more confident in getting our money back.

We have booked Rosen inn at pointe with Manchester flights, with a note made on our booking that we can switch to Disney accommodation and add tickets if/ when any offers are released with no amendment fee. We want to stay onsite so it'll be either our preferred choice of POFQ with free dining or a value with paid dining.

Our insurance will cover us for medical only. We have until February to decide whether to go ahead. If not, we cancel at a loss of deposit so no different to the position we were in a week ago. I hope that if the same thing happens again early next year, with a sudden lock down, Virgin would accommodate a change of dates or refund as they are now (all be it with a long wait!)

For me it's a glimmer of hope, I'm certainly not getting my hopes up as there is so much uncertainty. I'm not telling my girls either

We were supposed to go this August. I never wanted to go next year because of the 50th anniversary celebrations. I've already booked another holiday for next year so we are going to wait until 2022. I'd rather wait and see how things go once the parks open. Not prepared to pay thousands and there's lots of restrictions still in place.

Hopefully going Jan 2022, at least all the new rides should be open by then!

We were planning to book for next September but now we are holding on for 2022 but only because our California road trip booked for this August will need to be reorganised so we will do that next summer.
