Question 'Proper' Go Kart tracks

Hi, does anyone know if there are any proper go kart tracks around Orlando? I don't mean the fun spot type, but more the competition type like Buckmore Park in Kent, or even Lakeside karting in Essex (if anyone knows these tracks) Thanks

Have never seen anything much about pro karting in the States. I think most people that want to get into motorsport just start stockcar racing on the dirt and tarmac ovals. Its so much cheaper over there.

Just found this place, andrettithrillpark/index.html
its in Melbourne, Fl. the home page looks fairly promising but when you dig deeper I think its fairly (very) tame racing.
I'll keep looking to see what I can find.
late flash, just noticed on the website, 9 b.h.p. speeds upto 35 mph.
Not worth the drive in my opinion.

Done a bit more searching around a found this ocalagranprix/index.php
Ocala Gran Prix, looks much more like the business end of things, 65 mph Karts.
Three 10 minute sessions $31.25 + Tax
The only problem is its 80 miles from International Drive!
Hope this is of some use to you.
