"Take me out to the ball park"

Hi DH and DS's have suggested we "go catch a ball game" while we are away over christmas.

I'm not sure who plays where, or when the season starts or finishes.

Any advice on above and cost would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance Tracie

Hi Tracie,
The season runs from April to October so wont be on while you are there
But if you go in season time I can highly recommend it.
We always take in a ball game when ever we go and plan to again next year.
We go and see the Rays play near Tampa here
As for ticket costs it depends were you sit really, have alook at the web site.

Regards... Ted

Why not try an ice hockey game ? It's great fun.
The Tampa Bay Lightenings play at the St Petes Times forum in Tampa.
Hockey is a winter sport and we've been quite a few times.
It's very well organised and despite peoples thoughts about it being a violent game, it's always full of families with children of any age.

Edited at 08:13 PM. Reason: For some reason i have an angry face, and i'm not

We went to see the Lakeland Tigers in June - they do out of season training, look on their website for details. Its a small place, very family orientated. Tickets were $6 each adult and a beer was $1! Its a 50 minute trip from Idrive down the I4 to Lakeland and brilliant fun!

NFL tickets are like hen's teeth - they only get 8 home games a season and they go for extortionate amounts.

NBA would prob be favourite over Christmas - tickets from Ticketmaster.
