Celebration bikes ?

Can anyone tell me where you can hire bikes in celebration please and where abouts do you ride ? is it just on the streets to nosey at houses or is there specific trails ... done the Segway tour at celebration just thought we would do the bikes this time thankyou

You can hire bikes from behind the Bohemian Hotel on the lake front at Celebration. No need to book, just turn up. You are given a map with suggested routes and options which will take you around the boardwalks where you can look at the fabulous houses and wildlife. Some of the route is on roads but these are generally very quiet if this concerns you. You are of course free to choose your own route too if you prefer within the time you have booked.

My advice would be take plenty of sunscreen and extra water along with your camera. The bikes come with baskets on the front to carry your belongings and you are given one bottle of water each from the hire company, but we needed more than that when we did this last May.

Just checked out the Segway tour online looks good fun ...is it easy or are myself and DH gonna end up on our backsides

just a note of caution - check your insurance covers you first - ours would cover push-bikes, but not segways, scooters but not skateboards, airboat rides but not balloon flights.

loved the Segway was very unsure at first but after 5 mins all cocky and full of confidence

Would thoroughly recommend hiring bikes at Celebration. It was a great couple of hours cycling around, deciding which house to buy when we win the lottery!

Would definitely recommend the bikes. They provide a good map to get the full Celebration experience. Leisurely cycle around the board walks etc. All flat, no hills! Enjoy

I ran a Segway Tour business here in the U.K. For 10 years. Averaging 6000 customers a year, I only ever met a handful of people unable to get to grips with them. 5 minutes to learn, the biggest problem is overconfidence...
