Hi all looking to get prices for 2021 holiday. We are looking at Disney prices now and just wondering whether to book deluxe and hope we get free dining or book a moderate and do a dining up grade. So my question is do they charge the full dining price or is the up grade to from quick service to the dining plan at a reduced cost or the price on website now.
Hope this makes sense.
Thanks in advance.

If free dining is offered it would normally be QSDP with a moderate and you can pay the difference between the plans to upgrade.

Hey! If I’m understanding your question right then if you book a moderate resort and only got free quick service dining then the cost to upgrade to DDP would be the difference in the cost between the two only (which I think at the moment is around £18pppn)
So as for whether to book moderate or deluxe I suppose you would be best weighing up the cost of moderate with the upgrade to DDP against the cost of deluxe where the DDP is included for free☺️

Yes the upgrade cost to DDP from QSDP would be about £18pppn. If there were five adults in the room this is £90pn, there will be not be many deluxe reservations to be found at only £90 more than a moderate.

If there are less than five in the room it would become even more unlikely that moderate and upgrade would be more expensive than a deluxe.
