2 bed villas availability @ OKW / SSR for Sept 2020

We have 2 garden view rooms booked at POR for September 2020 for 5 adults, with upgraded DDP and 2x $300 gift cards. We always intended swapping resorts to OKW or SSR when 2 bed villas became available, primarily to give some privacy. Despite regularly checking WDTC website and ringing Disney occasionally there is no availability.
Has anyone been successful in obtaining a 2 bed for this year? How far in advance of departure date was there availability? And did you manage to swap and retain your free dining? Only asking as Disney have indicated that I won't be able to retain free dining if I swap resorts. I realise we will lose one set of free Disney gift cards but I wasn't expecting to lose free dining too.
I have been offered 2 bed villa at GF but it was £12k more than current rooms so I politely declined.
Any advice or tips greatly appreciated.

SSR is under going refurbishment at the moment so cash rooms will be severely limited as they come out of the spare 5% that DVC has to keep available incase of problems/maintenance issues for the remaining 95% of DVC rooms.
Saying that we got moved to a 2 bed villa at SSR from AKL due to room issues this trip, it was the only 2 bed available anywhere on property. On our room account it was showing as over $1000 a night...

I am aware of the SSR refurb and OKW would possibly be our first choice. I'm expecting to pay around that price per night if I'm honest, just a bit disappointed that other than paying £22k to stay af GF there is zero availability for 2 bed villas for our dates.

I’ve been on/off checking for this May to scope out availability for our trip next year and haven’t seen any 2 beds come up.
They are only about 40 points more than a one bed so doesn’t seem to be much of them spare.
1 beds and 3 beds No problem. Don’t think the 3 bed would of been included in the free dining.

I have seen somebody else looking for the two bed and it doesn’t seem to have been available this year, only one bed and three beds. It sounds like you have been misinformed regarding free dining, if there were availability, it has always been possible to move and retain free dining.

We originally booked 5 x studios at POR for 12 of us, arriving on 2nd October for 10 nights.

We've since switched to OKW, 2 x 2 bed. My confirmation emails of the switch came on 22/11/19, so 10.5 months-ish.

I just kept checking the Disney site daily and as soon as availability showed, I called them up. Our dining plan was automatically upgraded from free QSDP to free DDP, and we got 2 x $200 gift cards.

Availability on all room categories had been sparse, so I know we got lucky.

I know ssr is about £700-750 pn. But for the last however many years okw/ssr had a discount in addition to free dining. It has reduced every year. Think we got around 30% off in 2016.
So until/if they release the offer it’s hard to tell.
