Hotel beds Universal booking with Clubcard can dates be changed ?

Hi all,
Just about to book Universal hotel for 2021 using Tesco clubcard vouchers, website states free cancellation? Just wondering can dates be altered after booking at all ? As we haven't booked flights wondered if they are flexible with dates if needed ?

if you use tesco clubcard vouchers these are NOT able to be refunded

this is very deceiving as is says on the first page "free cancellation for most rooms" but you would only receive back any cash top up you've paid & NOT the value of the voucher

I thought as much, I'm wondering if its worth waiting to book flights before booking but worried about availability ?

Even if you alter dates they won't transfer the vouchers
