thank you KRBarnard I feel overall TUI would be an easier journey, did a dumby booking via VA and the seating is 2-4-2 in premium so with it being 3 of us TUI with 2-3-2 configuration in premium is better
if it had not been for the long drive I wouldn't have had second thoughts re TUI and Melbourne

I wonder if tui will still offer free transfers to and from airport once they move to Melbourne. We have booked with them for next year from Manchester. Much prefer flying from up north but won’t rule out Gatwick with BA.
