Have a look at Doubletree Suites Times Square, fab location, one bedroom( can have a king or 2 doubles) and a living room with sofa bed.

We stayed in Crowne Plaza Times Square, two double beds, our boys were 17 & 14. If I remember correctly I think there are very few opportunities to get a hotel with a pool. TBH I wouldn't waste time in a gym (you will get enough exercise walking) or using a pool when in NYC, you can do that at home.

We are back from New York this August, we stayed at Tryp Times Square SOUTH... Great location, Good sized rooms as there are 5 of us. There was a very small gym but like others say, New York is big and busy and we walked our legs off everyday! It was just around the corner from the New Yorker hotel and a subway at the end of the road.

We took three older teens this July. Stayed at Broadway Plaza, near the Flatiron. Was perfect for us. They had a junior suite. Two queen beds plus a third double sofa bed. That might suit your needs ? We got free breakfast there too.

Think pools are a rarity and unless you plan lots of downtime, not sure when it would get used. There is so much to see. We walked 10 miles a day .. So good luck doing the gym as well !

Lots of pics in my recent Triple Treat trippy.

Happy planning

When we were looking for ny hotels last year I only came across one that had a pool, outdoor and seasonal. Unfortunately can't remember the name of it. Our legs never ached so much, last thing I would want is a gym. radio city apartments have 2 rooms I think. My 2 were happy to share so stayed in a double room.

To help choose a hotel with a pool go to TA and tick pool on the left hand side which will bring up your options.
