I’m the safe and nearly made a serious mistake the other day! Having realised that Virgin don’t fly back to Glasgow on a Monda I decided to try a dummy booking for summer this year to see how I would get home next year. Could get a flight from Glasgow in Economy Classic and a flight home via Manchester PE for £750 and just stopped myself in time: I was so excited at the price that I nearly pressed the book now button - OMG!

You're not alone. Everybody who books over 11 months out has to wait to book flights. There are thousands of us in the same boat.
