Weather insurance

Hi we have annual travel insurance through our Lloyd’s tsb platinum account but it dosent cover the weather and you can’t pay extra to cover it. Does anyone know of any polices thatbjust cover weather? I was thinking for hurricanes and volcano cover? Thanks 😊

Not sure about a weather excess policy as such.
But Virgin Money allow you to add "Travel Disruption" onto their policies. Including "Natural Disaster, Civil Unrest and Volcanic Ash"

I don't know if it's worth looking into even though you have a policy. But if it is a concern for you then it may be worthwhile.

Remember the volcanic ash cloud in 2010? It shut down air travel across a large part of Europe for a week

We are with more than and they do natural disasters cover that covers things like hurricanes.
