A 'welcome to Florida' party

Evening!

Our next Orlando trip is in four months so of course I have become obsessed with over-planning to fill the time. We are going to Orlando with another couple who are meeting us from LA, we arrive at our joint villa a day before them so wanted to get some supplies and have a mini pool party / bbq to start the holiday off as a little surprise for our friends. Anyone got any fun suggestions to make it extra special / extra Floridian? You can tell I've ran out of 'real' planning now

Oranges? Personalised Mickey ears for everybody? If you’re all going to Disney, make sure you all get matching badges (first trip, I’m celebrating etc)

For fun stuff I would pop to Dollar Tree, they have usually have loads of tropical themed party stuff, Tiki Cups, Half coconut cups, decorations for the lanai etc.
Maybe a little bit of Jimmy Buffet music.
Margaritas..
Lots of BBQ food!
