Upgrading free dining with virgin after booking
We have booked with virgin for next year with free dining. Will it be possible to upgrade to the ddp a little closer to the time or will we have to remain with the quick service now as that’s what we’ve booked?
Thanks! |

I’m afraid you’ll have to ask Virgin. I may be you would need to cancel and rebook but only Virgin can you tell you

From other posts I have read on this, Virgin seem to charge a lot more than Disney when upgrading the dining plan. The price seems to vary also so agree with op to give them a call.

Ah, sounds like it won't be so easy. Not too much of a big deal for us. I think if it's going to be difficult to upgrade we might be better off having 1 or 2 nice dinners off site and a couple of table service meals in Disney. We'll probably save money too!

Getting Excited

I enquired about doing this a few months before my last holiday with VH. They said I can upgrade, but I decided not to bother as they charged more than Disney, plus dining plan prices had already gone up from the time I originally booked.
It's worth getting a quote from Virgin and comparing that to what you think you'll spend out of pocket on table service dinners. |

I have done this this BA Holidays before & they charged same price as Disney I believe. Worth checking with Virgin.
DDP is well worth getting IMO, transforms your holiday experience if you enjoy dining in restaurants. To me, a holiday just isn't a holiday if you're not having relaxing table service meals. I know the QS plans suits lots of people though. Each to their own. Good luck, hope Virgin give you a good price. |
