Daytrip to Clearwater & SeaScreamer with ATD - anyone been?

I'm tempted to book this for our trip next March, I've heard great reviews about the sescreamer but we are non-drivers - this seems like the perfect way for us to be able to spend a day in Clearwater too.

With ATD it says tasty lunch in a beachside restaurant - does anyone know which restaurant it is and is it any good? Would we spends for anything else? I'm presuming there's a charge for sunloungers on the beach, and we may fancy a cocktail or two if we are sunbathing...

Are there any shops nearby that we could browse? Or is it just a day for the beach and then the boat trip?

Thanks

We stayed at Pier house 60 then had a trip on the seas creamer which was fab. There are a few shops in that area and also crabby bills for a meal. I think by the time you've been on seascreamer, had something to eat and a walk around, stroll in the beach it'll be time to return back.

Have a look on google maps for Pier 60. It's all in that area to get an idea how many shops are around.

We are planning to book a coach trip for our visit in October. However we are thinking of booking with Floridatix as they do not include lunch, and is a little cheaper. We aren't doing it this way to save costs, we just feel we would prefer to find our own choice of where to eat.

Apparently, whichever you choose, pick up is at Swan and Dolphin onsite Disney around 7.30am and drop off around 7.30pm. We think Uber to S&D from our resort, POFQ, would be easiest in the morning and a Disney bus to our resort (or wherever we want to eat) on return.
