Unreleased Autumn Winter 2020 Sale Available via Phone

Just spoke to Disney about moving our August holiday to October 2020. The cast member told me the price for the hotel but when she added park tickets the figures didnt add up.

Turns out a Autumn/Winter discount applied once the tickets were added. Also a $200 gift card appeared. The cast member was unaware of any current discount offers so must be releasing soon.

She also transferred our deposit and no admin fee.

did you book with free dinning? and if so get to keep it? as when free dining was available last year for 2020 holidays if your trip was after 3rd October you didn't qualify for free dinning, but got a 10% discount and $200 gift card instead. If you booked last with the free dinning promotion for august if you change your dates you will get the prices/deals that where available at the time you booked, hence the discount and gift card. However you wouldn't normally get to keep free dinning.


However if you didn't book last year when this offer was available then maybe an unreleased deal.


We moved the other way at the start of the year moving from November to May obviously we never got to go, although couldn'tgo in Nov anyway) and we lost the 10% discount but gained free dinning)

That answers it then. We booked free dining originally.
The cast member was confused and I was as she said it was a new booking.

10% and $200 is better than nothing as i didnt expect it, i expected to loose the free dinning and my $200+$100 gift card.

What is the cut off date for the 10% and giftcard promotion as we are thinking of moving to December and wondering if we can at least keep something from our original trip as we've lost both giftcards and dining if moving to 2021.

I think this is a good example of why you shouldn’t listen to a Disney CM when it comes to free dining offers and when they’ll be released. It took a Dibber to figure it out!
