We paid £1950 for 2 adults and 3 children in a category 4C. It is an expensive luxury for us but will be a one off experience. Was about £100 or so cheaper for the stateroom with the big porthole (think it's category 8 but can't remember). The price now on DCL is £2600 so that's the reason why I booked early to get a cheaper price and choice. You can book direct or with a US Travel Agent just see which is the better deal. There's the cruise forum and they know loads more than me xx
Edited to say we received $150 on board credit from the American Travel Agent too Edited at 06:35 AM. |

Just a small update on hotel booking
Small update I noticed a post a couple of days ago, on the accommodation section about a new offer for Sapphire Falls on the BA site. Went to have a nosey and saw that the price had been reduced and that you'd also receive, with a booking of 4 nights or more, a $150 dining credit . Our booking wasn't fully refundable but I phoned BA to see what the cancellations costs would be. The guy was very helpful and told me it was £112 to cancel but then went on to say if we just altered our booking we could just pay an amendment cost of £25
The room had to be upgraded so we chose a Lagoon view which was only a little bit more than a standard. We will now receive the $150 dining credit which can be used within the hotel. Figured it should pay for an evening meal for us one time, and we still got a refund of £69 Really pleased with this new deal! so our new costs for our Universal hotel as gone down to £499 for the 5 nights We've nearly finished our selections for our ADR's so will post them very soon Thanks for reading Edited at 09:31 PM. |
