Thanks for the tip on omega store.. just got flights with BA in August for £550 per person (12 Aug till 26th Aug) flying from Manchester to Heathrow on the 11th. Then direct to Orlando from Gatwick on 12th. Then return it's direct to Gatwick and then you have to change to Heathrow for leg to Manchester but as we live in Essex, we'll be dropping then. Cheap train up to Manchester and an overnight hotel at Gatwick and we'll be all set.

13th Aug - 31st Aug
£469.99 return with Swiss Air via Zurich based on 2 adults and 3 children. Makes out going leg 13hr (1:15 stop over and return 18hr 35m 7:40 stop over) If the return stop over wasn't so demanding on the kids we would have pulled the trigger. |

Had an email from pillinger this afternoon -
For a limited time only, you can book your flights to Orlando Florida Adult Fare - £439 Teen Fare - £359 Child Fare - £339 Departures between 17th July - 17th August 2018 This offer won't last for long! Book today. Call our travel experts to book this incredible offer on 01772 337 448! Haven't had a chance to call them yet. Eta just spoken to them, they do still have some availability for earlier dates leaving 6/7/8/9 August all from Manchester into Orlando with BA flying AA connecting Chicago on the outbound with 4 1/2 hours connection and phl on return with a long connection of 7 hours. Not sure what we would do for 7 hours and it's still over £100 more than we've paid the last 2 years so think we'll wait and see if something better comes along (as we aren't supposed to be going back next year 😊 ). Have been monitoring summer holiday (direct) prices since August and they have remained stubbornly high.
Hopefully, we will see these prices come down over Christmas |

Yes, I almost booked flights about 3 weeks ago for our trip next August, booking with BA, LGW-TPA Economy outbound, and FLL-LGW Club return, for a shade over 3k.
They are currently offering the same flights for just over 5800, so I'll be eagerly awaiting the December BA sale, the guy I spoke to at BA said it should be launched on Boxing Day. |

I'm still watching indirect, they've all gone up from what they were so still hoping for a drop in price.
