ESTA expiration
I did my last days 16th man 2p16 so assumed it was valid for my trip in July, I have just had an email saying it expires in the next 30 days, anyone else ever had this or know why this has happened

Usually a passport is due to be renewed.

I had the same thing happen and my passport wasn't due to expire so I went into the ESTA site and checked my dates and it was still valid for over a year. Might be worth a look there just to reassure yourself - I didn't click on any links included in the email though just in case it was spam.

Passports all valid for years, I'm now wondering if it's an old one, how would I find out x

Just go to the official site. By using Passport numbers you can find out when each ESTA is due to expire.

just realised what it is, i renewed DD passport in oct (8 months before it was due to run out). because she already had her estate before this it will be attached to her old passport! so glad they sent that email or i would of totally forgotten about that. off to renew now
