That's aisle. It runs ABC, HJK left to right as you look towards the nose of the plane. DEF & G fill in the middle seats downstairs.

You will be the first off the upper deck when you land and very quickly to immigration. Best economy seat on the plane in my opinion

We sat in 80H and 80J on the way home last Thursday - great seats, we were, as Ninnybobs said, one of the first off the plane.

Service was excellent in the bubble too - couldnt fault the guys serving, so friendly (and gave extra wine with my dinner )

i believe there no over head storage for your case just a cupboard !

are the cases all thrown in there or is it easy to get things out of there in flight ?

Arrived back on VS16 this morning. Had 80H going out and coming back. Yes, you are first off the upper deck, but at both MCO and LGW had a VERY long wait for luggage, so no real advantage. There is an overhead locker, but it is a bit smaller than the ones downstairs - big enough for my backpack - but won't be big enough if you are on the cabin bag limits - they take those off you and store them at the back of the cabin by the galley.
Coming back didn't get my first choice of dinner as I was last to be served and they had run out. Cabin crew coming back were Virgin's worst - rushed through dinner and weren't given time to eat it before they started clearing away - breakfast practically thrown at us - having passengers was a nuisance to them. Going out we had an excellent cabin crew - very helpful and plane wasn't full so they were handing out extra drinks.
The one seat I think is better is 80K - in the corner, with stowage beside you and no need to get up so others can go to the loo.

Sorry to jump on this - we are a family of four, adults and 5/12 yr old - any suggestions for seating in that area please?
