Depends on when you go I would think. We go end of August and often found the standby queues to be no different (or even shorter!) than the FP queues! I can't say what it's like at other time tho, as we only do August, sorry

Last 2 weeks are hot yes, but there is the afternoon rain (about 15 minutes) which freshens things up and really it's rather nice. It's quieter too as the local kids are back at school. I wouldn't go any other time

while i agree that crowds aren't bad at all at the end of August, I can't agree that the weather is "rather nice" at that time of year. I found it humid and oppressive, and the afternoon rains only freshened things up for about an hour afterwards and then it was back to being humid and oppressive. Now don't get me wrong, if that was the only time of year I could go to Orlando, I'd go because of the fairly low crowd levels compared to other school holiday times.

All depends on the time of year you go.
Last trip we went the last 3 weeks in August. First week was busy then less so. Having been 4 times in the past we devised a plan called 'theme park ninja', book 3 fast passes in a 2hr 15 min window, then ride whatever else we wanted to with no wait or further FP's done on the go via the MDE app. Quite often we only did the 3 rides we'd FP's, other days we did quite a few more if the queue fairies were smiling on us. Spent quite a few mornings and evenings in the past this way, don't think we did a full day apart from Sea World which we hadn't visited for a few trips. couldn't really do this without a plan imo |
