I personally wouldn't pay for the DDP. It wouldn't make financial sense for us.
Whilst we have utilised the DDP when it was free, we found ourselves eating much more food than we would have usually ordered! Zoe x

Thanks for the replies! I think I’ll stick the money on a currency card! 👍🏼

I voted for put the money on a currency card as then you will not be worried that you have paid for the dip plan and may have credits left so would think it a waste of money. Also it will give you more freedom of where you want to eat without thinking you have to use your credits. Don’t get me wrong I love the ddp but putting it on a card is just as good an idea xx

I like the convenience of the DDP, and it was hard for me to vote against it, BUT...
every time without fail that we have had DDP, we cannot eat all the food. We usually return home with around 10 QS credits (and that's after buying some random strangers their lunches!). I don't mind having leftover credits if I get it for "free" but not if I have had to physically add that to my hotel bill. Put the cash away on a card and spend it OOP, then you will get the best value from it. You will also think about eating what you want, rather than pushing yourselves to eat everything because you feel you need to get your money's worth...
