I was just going to post this - not sure why that was missed off, as I think it would get a majority.

We're not really planners, we start watching flights prices around Feb every year for July holiday, sometimes we book flight straight away, sometimes it's April or so before we find a price we're happy with. Don't ever book plan beyond flight, accommodation and car really.

My mum was very poorly last year so we only ended up getting away for 5 nights to the coast - after 5 dreary days in the UK we were planning our Disney holiday in the car on the way home.
I started looking at flights immediately (that was last July) and basically the planning started then! Admittedly bits at a time - flights and accomodation to start with!
I love the planning - makes me really excited! Don't think I've had a day where I haven't thought about our up and coming holiday and definitely not had a day off here! I'll miss the planning when we return!

The planning helps me get excited because no one knows what I'm planning! I pay for it so its up to me. I tell everyone on the day of the event so they don't waste the holiday looking forward but appreciate every moment. Makes me so happy!

We are probably not going to be able to go back for 2 - 3 years but I am already planning-well, getting ideas off the Dibb. Especially as Dd has suggested NYC for a couple of days! I am package holiday girl so I am now going to have to pester on here for help!
