Lake Havasu seems to be a weekend/vacation lake resort. It has the London Bridge as it's main attraction apart from the lake itself. As a one night stop off it's fine but there's nothing else there. We stayed at the Nautical Inn which was ok. On the lake front with a 'beach bar' and rooms with self catering facilities. The rooms overlooking the marina could have been very noisy with boat steros blasting out and the bar open late, however we were in a beach view which was quiet and well equipped and more family orientated. Standard was 'motel' type rather than luxury hotel but was more than adequate for what was needed.

We're stopping at three of those hotels in October and just wondered what you made of:
Yosemite NP - Yosemite View Lodge
Are there reasonable places to eat other than the hotel?
Monterey - Hyatt
Pismo Beach - Cottage Inn by the Sea

Thanks
