I haven't tried it yet, so can't say how loud it is. Its not very big but that was part of the appeal for me.

Sony i pod dock

that is the Sony one at marks looks like it is still on offer and 30% off applies at check out

we have just bought one of those from HMV for £49.95 for our daughter to have as a Christmas pressie I had it out of the box and it sounds quite good

I have a Bose sound dock and whilst the Sony is not quite in the same league it is more than acceptable

pcworld do one called iwantit8010 and it sounds superb ---its half price at the moment at around 70 pounds ----- 30 watts output and video output and remote for ipod too .

We bought one the last time it went on sale after listening to it against a bose sounddock and a roth unit that cost 320 pounds ----

Go instore and listen and you will buy one
