CDS Shows

We've booked to see KA and LOVE but just wondered how long the shows last?

They are about 90 minutes long. They have to be - they do two shows per night, one at 7, one at 9. They have to finish and clear the hall and get the next lot in in half an hour!

I saw "Ka" last year, it was tremendous. But "LOVE" brought tears to my eyes - not as much because of the acrobatics (though that is spellbinding) but just hearing THAT music all over again, on stage. It's a part of my DNA, The Beatles. If you love the band, I guarantee you'll be moved too?

And they go so quickly as well... I was so exilarated after KA I just wanted to stay and see it all again.

It was definitely a case of standing ovation all round after the performance we saw. Absolutely stunning.

I'm hoping Love will be as awesome in November. I was a 70's child so I missed out on the Beatles initially especially as both my Mum and Dad were never fans, but by the late 80's early 90's I was hooed on 60's music and got all the Beatles albums on CD (as well as many other 60's bands).

You will love it. I don't think the theatrics/stage innovation is as good as "Ka" (that amazing hydraulic, tilting stage?), but it has some great moments. And the music - well, you'll be overwhelmed. There was a magical part where the whole audience joined in with the singalong part of "Hey Jude" - it was just as when I saw Paul McCartney live a couple of years back. Amazing. And when you think this is just 20-25 of over a hundred tracks of theirs - it's incredible, it really is. There will never be another band come even remotely close to them - and seeing that music, presented in a new light, was a really emotional moment.

I've never even looked at the track listing on the soundtrack until a few minutes ago. I am particularly pleased to see contributions from the White Album which I think is stunning. Probably my favourite Beatles song is Blackbird, in fact I love all the acoustic offerings by McCartney on that album (Mother Natures Son, I Will). Slight tunes, but infectious.

I really can't wait for Love. KA was awesome, if it can top that it have to be something really special...
