We are stopping at both of those hotels in Oct/Nov this year
We are driving from Anaheim to Vegas and stopping at Calico for a couple of hours either on the way there or the way back... oh and Mr Tesco paid for most of ours as well

I've been searching on the Virgin website and I can't see that they do Twilight check in at Heathrow.

Does anyone know if that's correct? We're planning to stay over anyway as the flight is at 11.15 so we'd have to be up real early if we drive same day.

Thanks for the link Dizzy .. looks good!

As far as I know Virgin don't do the twilight check in at Heathrow You can however checkin online the day before on the virgin site and can also print your boarding passes. Don't know yet how much time it saves though.

Hi, we went in Apr this year with Virgin and they don,t do twilight check-in but you can still do online check in..the drive is about 5 hours ffrom anaheim and we stopped after 3 hours for a drink an some lunch... easy drive mainly straight highways all the way... after basing yourself in vegas..Hoover Dam is about 30 - 35 mins drive depending on traffic, and a early start helps this..

There is actually a tesco collectors group on the dibb if you want to look for it. I just saved for a couple of years then went online, entered all the codes of the vouchers I wanted to exchange and received my Virgin holiday vouchers within a few days. I then phoned Virgin with some idea of what I wanted... simple
Tesco convert your points x4 for virgin holidays but they cannot just be used on flights or park tickets...they have to be used towards a full holiday.
