anyone know what the le creuset stuff went for - i tried at 3pm on the dot and couldn't even view - it took 3 mins to load and they had then disappeared

shallow cast iron went for £65 and the larger one for £72
when you look at the deals page there is a drop down, if you select Sold, it will show everything that sold out along with the sale prices

To get anything the trick is to have the page loaded (also make sure you are already logged into your account if you can) watch the countdown, when it reaches zero click the add to basket button as soon as it appears.

I guess there aren't many of each item, especially the more popular items, so it's a fastest finger game

If you wait more than a couple of seconds or try and refresh then you'll probably lose out. Once it's in your basket, you have until midnight to complete the purchase or remove it from your basket.

Once you have added it to your basket, make sure you check to see if you can get it cheaper elsewhere before you checkout. They had a power screwdriver in the sale for £29.99, but amazon actually sell it for £27.99, it just doesn't come with a corkscrew attachment

omg, finally was online as the hour changed so tried for a telly (not that I want one). I literally watched it go to 0, clicked buy and it came up 'Sold out', less than a second later!

just bought the philips shaver for DS for xmas-had seen it in argos for £39.99 and got it for £31.99 so not massive savings but "every little helps"

Amazon's marketing has been quite effective. I haven't got any of the deals (other than one someone else managed to snag) but I have just spent £150+ finishing all my Christmas shopping...

I got this too, I thought it was too good to be true at first. I didn't even want it, but £50... so I just clicked buy, I'm sure I could give it to someone at christmas
