Thanks for the link but I still can't see any photos
My iCloud is on - it says it is backing up photos but I want to know how to see those photos on my phone I can only see the ones taken that are stored on this actual phone

iTunes is for music. App Store is for Apps but neither would have your photos on

iTunes on a PC or laptop (not the app on the phone) contains everything loaded on your iOS devices - music, videos, photos, books, apps, etc. Assuming you synced your iOS devices with your PC/laptop.
There is a separate iCloud program that you run on your PC and laptop. You can download that and see the photos in your iCloud account there (see here for info if you have a Windows PC). To the OP, have you downloaded the iCloud app onto your new phone? See here for info. If you have, open up the iCloud app and then sign into your original Apple account; you should then be able to see anything that was stored on your iCloud account. I am assuming that you've used the same Apple account for your new phone as your old phone - this won't work if you've used a new Apple account for your new phone. (Also, remember that you only get 5GB of iCloud storage for free - if you didn't pay extra then it may not have stored everything). If you open up the iCloud program or app (either on your PC/laptop or new iPhone), sign into your original Apple account, and can't see any photos on there, then I'm afraid it looks like the photos weren't stored there for some reason.
