Birthday Cake
My little girl will be 5 when we are there, we are staying in a 1 bed villa in SSR.
Can I organise for a birthday cake to be delivered to the room or something? I've got a number 5 balloon to give her, but other than that...

Not sure about on site, but if you have a car, both Publix and Walmart sell cakes that can be personalised.

You can order a Disney cake from the cake Hotline- good luck with that! I phoned 3x last year, got answering machine where they promise to call you back & nada! Ended up going to Patisserie in Disney Springs. You can't have it delivered to your room at SSR but they will deliver to reception for you then to pick it up.

Not sure about in room birthday cakes...
But would suggest checking out Amorette's Patisserie in Disney Springs if you're looking for birthday cakes! They do amazing cakes - there's a signature layered cake, then dome cakes with Mickey ears and other Disney themed cakes. I'm not sure if you would need to order the large cakes (might be safer to do so) but they always have the smaller petit cakes that you can just turn up and buy. (These petit cakes are pretty small though...) disneyworld.disney.go/di...isserie/menus/ is the Amorette's Patisserie menu with a list of cakes.

I got one delivered to a restaurant in December, Sci fi diner (just one of the mickey dome cakes with happy birthday written on the ear), not sure if it can be delivered to a room or not. I just phoned the dining reservation number to order it.

I was thinking about getting one from Amorettes for my birthday. At first I thought I would have to collect it but then I am sure I saw somebody post a link which indicated it could be delivered to resort.

I'm sure Disney Floral and gifts have an in-room cake option (as well as loads of other stuff you can order) It's quite pricy though
