Going On An Adventure Day 19

Today we had a slow start with coffee, grapes and yoghurt for breakfast in the room. I went to put some laundry on and came back to find Adrian still in bed! But awake. We both needed a slow start. I went over to the centre to get us a salad for lunch which we put in the fridge. Then we headed out for some crazy golf. We both really enjoyed this 😁. Back to the resort (we took the car) for lunch, a shower and another coffee. Then we caught the bus to Magic Kingdom. Over to FP1 for Splash Mountain but we were in the queue a little while cos they stopped the ride for the weather.

Adrian asked if I mentioned his hole in 1 on the first hole. Sadly the only photographic evidence is my hole in 1 later on the course...

But here is the scorecard 😁

We then went straight to Space Mountain for FP2. A bit of a queue just for fastpass, and some queue jumpers from standby to fastpass in front of us but they got caught at the second scan point and sent back. I would have made them exit the ride entirely, wearing the cone of shame! We took the long way round via smokers corner (yuk) and came out by the circus and dumbo.

It was a beautiful day. We just took a slow walk all the way round to Pirates for our third FP.

In the pirates queue

We then took another slow walk to the resort monorail, via Starbucks for a shared coffee frappucino and some photopass photos on main street. We were heading to the Polynesian for our 8pm dinner reservation.

Bread to start.

Some yummy salad.

Then noodles. We got a dish each since I explained I was vegetarian so I got noodles and veg whilst Adrian's also had chicken wings and pot stickers.

Then we got this bread with pesto, houmous and something else I don't remember the name of.

Instead of skewers, the lovely Phillipe brought me yet more vegetables, the amount of food was unreal!

Sadly I couldn't eat it all but it was soooo nice to have broccoli and peppers and mushrooms and potato (not as fries!).

The bread pudding arrived in time for us to watch the 9.15pm MK fireworks. The music was played in the restaurant and we sat and enjoyed the view. Back on the bus which was a super prompt service 😁

Nice to see you weren’t neglected with some nice vegetables, I feel any vegetable I manage to eat in Florida seems to come in a bath of butter!
