Mobile Sawgrass Mill Miami, similar to premium outlets?

Hi, we are hoping to go shopping in Miami when the ship docks for a day. Torn between Sawgrass Mills and Dolphin Mall.

Has anyone been? I'm hoping for bargains like at the Premium outlets at Vineland. Sawgrass is operated by Simon Malls, same as Florida Mall and Premium outlets. I much prefer the outlets than the Florida Mall for bargains, can anyone tell me how they compare?

Thanks

We visited Sawgrass a couple of times but not the other mall you mention. To be honest we all liked Sawgrass and daughters managed to find a few things they wanted to buy. I remember there was a few different places to premium outlets, Gucci - Jimmy Choo - Bloomingdales . You could check the store list as there is bound to have been changes since our last visit. We would all visit again if around the area on future visits.

We visited Dolphin mall in 2013 and Sawgrass last year and much prefer Sawgrass. Price wise we found Sawgrass more like a regular mall rather than an outlet. Although that said we found many bargains in stores such as Hugo Boss and Ralph Lauren. It depends what you are looking to buy really.

Sawgrass is bigger and better than Dolphin imo! Check the store directories online. Sawgrass has everything I would go in at the Dolphin, plus a lot more. Love Century 21, it seemed bigger than the one in New York.

Thanks for your replies. I was hoping it would be on par pricewise with the outlets and not the Florida mall.

It is mostly outlets there, with some normal shops too.

Sawgrass is primarily an outlet mall with other stores that you’d find in the US equivalent of what we’d call a retail park, eg, Bed, Bath & Beyond, Target, Marshall’s, TK Maxx, mobile phone stores etc

Thanks for your replies. We don't normally get much at Florida Mall as we find it much cheaper at Premium Outlets. If the prices are in comparison with Florida Mall, I don't think we'll bother going, just do something else in Miami, but if the prices are like the outlets, we'll go.

Last year we found Sawgrass the most comparable to the outlets. The only thing different was that we usually sign up and get a voucher booklet for extra discounts. This didn’t seem to be available there, and when we went to customer services and asked we were told (nicely) ‘this isn’t Orlando, you know’ . I’m guessing it wasn’t the first time Brits had asked . Still got some good bargains, including Ugg slippers for $35
