Fish. No contest. It's a signature dining experience. Morimoto isn't.

The food was disappointing at morimotos. The building and surroundings are beautiful. The crispy Peking duck was soggy and a very small portion for the price. The rest of the food just wasn't great and extremely expensive for what we got.

Only done the flying fish so can comment on the other but we went the other year when we took my little sister. She was just turned 8 when we went and she was fine at the flying fish. They do an amazing chocolate puzzle that they get to put together then paint before eating it. She loved it.

I was rather looking forward to trying morimotos, but having read all of these negative reviews here and elsewhere I think we will give it a miss.

Flying fish on the other hand looks in prime position to take its place in the plan...
