Food prices in the supermarket seemed much the same as home - except fruit was pricey.
We stay in a villa and buy some of the ready meals - lasagna and salad that sort of thing - around $15-$20 for 4 of us. Also have take away from either the supermarket (whole hot chicken $8-$10 ) or Papa John's pizza - large $15 We like Sweet Tomatoes - buffet - salad/soup/baked potato/pizza/flatbread, drink and dessert - about $40 for a family 2 adults/2 kids - many vouchers available. |

Cheapest items in the ponderosa menu is 10.99 plus tax so $12.50 max but this includes the full buffet.
Also like whereibelong said fruit is pricey even at places like walmart. I remember that when we bought 4-5 apples (loose) it was costing just under $5. Yet you can go to Burger King get 2burgers, chicken nuggets, fries and a drink for 4 dollars. 🙄 |

Dennys, Perkins, Golden Corral, Bob Evans always averaged between $30- $35 for 2 adults and 1 child.
Steak Houses are around $60- $70 for 2 adults and 1 child. |
