Where to eat staying at Fort Wilderness

We are staying at FW for 2 nights. On the second day we'd like to go back to MK in evening possibly as it is EEH. For dinner I'd like to go somewhere close by, preferably involving a boat trip and not in
MK itself. Don't fancy Artists point. Currently got GF cafe booked but not sure. Will have eaten at FW already so fancied getting out. Any ideas?

You could take the boat to the Contemporary. We are staying at FW in Oct/Nov and plan to go to The Wave at the Contemporary while there, but there are several restaurants at The Contemporary. Then you could walk to MK.

Was considering the Wave ourselves. Only reason we thought maybe not is that it is the only resort we have visited previously so thought we'd have a change. Did like it there though... Hmmm...

The Poly also has a few good restaurants. We are planning Kona Cafe for breakfast and Ohana for a late meal. The WL is so close to some of the best restaurants! Tough decisions!

May have just answered my own question. Think we might go over to the new Geyser Point bar and grill at WL for a quick service meal. Looks lovely...

Might just copy you on this 😀
We're also staying at Fort Wilderness but a few weeks after you.

You may be there around the same time. We stay at FW at the start of August but in a villa for a week before. Geyser Point looks lovely. My fear is that it will be busy and you can't make a reservation.

We're there for the last two weeks of August. Just tried to check out the menu but MDE isn't cooperating, still the burger on the first page looks nice!

I'm there for two weeks from the 25th August. It is 1st come 1st serve, it doesn't look like enough seating is available, so expect it to be busy. Hoping Roaring Fork is back open by the time we fly out to take some of the crowds away
