Fries at evening buffets?

Hello,

Does anyone know if you are able to request fries at the evening buffets/ family style?

I have chef mickeys and whispering canyon on my list but i have a fussy child who wont eat the mash or tatter tots.

Is there nothing else they would eat at all from the buffet?

It depends, not every restaurant has a fryer.

I haven't seen fries at many of the buffets but there is plenty to choose from, I cant imagine they would go hungry

My ds can't have dairy and the chef at chef mickeys did him chicken strips & fries so worth asking.

My 10 year old won't eat potato in any form (unless it's a crisp), or rice, or pasta, but she does very well at buffets as there are so many other choices to fill up on - unlimited meat is her favourite! Bread is her carb of choice and that's always available. I find it's actually easier than at a table service restaurant so I'm sure your little one will be fine.

I thought my DS was the only non potato eater on earth! It's a pain isn't it?

Such a pain! She's the eldest of 3 and almost every meal has to be adapted. It's a texture thing with her, she won't do rice, couscous, or pasta either, although lately has been able to eat a little pasta - only twists mind you, no other shape lol

Fortunately he loves pasta, in all shapes. Good with rice as well. We've discovered a Sainsbury's frozen French fry that he may eat 6 of so we can say we're eating the same food! Younger brother would eat nothing but potatoes if we let him. I'm assuming if we don't push it he'll grow out of it when he's older. Probably because of a girl.

I don't eat potatoes as a general rule out of choice and never even notice at the buffets there is so much choice. It's more faff at the TS places TBH but in your position they do tend to have fries.
