Mobile Be our guest dinner vs lunch

I was just wondering if the dinner at Be our guest is considerably nicer experience wise than lunch? I've been at lunch and though the theming was wonderful, my overriding memories are of it feeling very busy, very much QS and searching for tables etc. :/

Dinner is nice as you get shown to a table, have waiter service etc. However, it's still loud and busy, especially if you're in the ballroom. So if you're looking for something quiet and more refined, then that certainly wasn't our experience of dinner there.

it might be just me, but I always feel dinner...whilst their is still nots of activity in the dining areas, is less hectic. With people not getting up for drinks and tending to take longer to eat their evening meal, it just feels different.

But I so also agree, its not a refined or quiet dining experience... still love it

We've only been for breakfast and dinner.

We picked dinner over lunch because we thought the menu was more appealing. There was nothing on the lunch menu I would eat.

Dinner was 10 times the experience lunch was. I thought lunch was like being in a canteen, no real chance to appreciate the theming and the food was dire. Dinner was a much better time for us. The food was well cooked, but a bit too salty...and huge portions. Our server was quite miserable and tried to rush us, but we sat near to the snowy window and just took our time. Our meet with the beast was great. Glad we did it, more glad I was on free ddp, and don't feel the need to go back and repeat it (although I have been toying with the idea of an early breakfast in October as the advantage of doing Crystal Palace has gone really, so this is a good use of a QS and way into fantasyland before the rush...

Getting Excited

I have the opposite opinion to Wigan Lass! First time i went for dinner - it was OK but nothing special. The food was average and i felt it was a bit over-hyped. I met the Beast but once is enough - he's so massive he can't interact at all so it was a quick in and out photo (maybe because I didn't have kids?).
So last time we did lunch - food was good for a QS and we felt more comfortable looking around the different rooms.
I have eaten in all rooms as on the lunch we took our dessert to another area so we could see it all.
Anyway I did enjoy both, but it wasn't until doing lunch after the dinner that i realised which i preferred. Either way you'll enjoy it i'm sure
