Universal Studios 1 day ticket

I'm staying at AKL for two weeks in July and will be spending most of my time at Disney. We want to do universal but as we are not hiring a car we want to do universal in one day. We want to buy the 1 day, 2 park pass with the express line thing (can't remember the actual name).
Do people tend to buy their universal tickets before they go or at universal? Which have people found cheaper?

I don't think there is any difference in price for a 1 day ticket with buying in advance or on day. I ordered mine in advance just in case for any big queues at the ticket booth.

That's what I was afraid of. Had a look and two years ago it cost me £175 for this ticket. This year will be £250 because of the exchange rate. So expensive! Will need to see if it's worth it for one day.

I have found a two day park to park for 185 on attractions tickets direct I think it was?
we are looking at staying overnight as we won't have a car either but the hotel works out the same price as paying for express passes unlimited and you get two days plus early entry, so might be a better option😊

Check out undercover tourist. I got a 1 day park to park ticket there. Have to pay in dollars but was much cheaper than buying direct from universal.

You can get 14 day 3 park ticket for £217 but not with passes. Staying in a Universal hotel might be an option as you get passes in some.
