why marketplace and not west side WPE

We've only eaten at the marketplace WPE and know that one is recommended over the west side but I wondered why. We're staying at OKW so will be dropped by the boat to the west side and so it would be more convenient but will walk to marketplace if it is much better. If it is just the case the menu is more limited then I'm happy with westside as it has my bbq chicken pizza!

Yes, a much more limited menu and not as much seating either. Here's the menu:

No BBQ chicken pizza on the current menu though, only at the grand cafe which is ts, not qs.

Just to jump in here, I'll be staying at SSR, so will have choice of boat or walk to DS. I know the walkway goes into the Village side, but does the SSR boat drop off at Westside as well? Also, my plan is to go to WPE after checking in on a Friday evening. I know the DS crowds are insane on weekend evenings, but does anyone have recent experience of how easy it is to get a table at either WPE at these times?
