adding someone to existing virgin booking

as the title suggests.

Anyone got experience of adding another traveller (same family) to an existing virgin booking.

is this possible? do i just pay some amendment fee?

we have 2 return miles tickets and now want to add 2 others to that booking.

due to the way our air miles were with virgin we had to make 3 separate bookings to make the best use of our miles. once we had all 3 booking references we phoned customer service and linked all 3. we still have separate bookings but the system knows they are linked so we don't get split up on seating. and to add to it my parents decided to come with us so they booked and we added their reference to our group as well.

We had three tickets booked for next year then our son’s girlfriend decided she wanted to come. I had to book a separate ticket with a different booking code then rang VA to link the bookings, we were assured this was done although I don’t really know what the difference is if they aren’t linked ?
