I'm back - Medical procedure complete
I didn't want to worry my dibb family about my medical procedure so I suffered in silence, but the procedure is now complete and I'm back. I am aware that the DOGs have been mocking me and the medical procedure but that is the norm to knock a fat basket when he's already down.
The medical procedure might appear basic to some people, but due to my enormous size and my many other medical conditions (including the male menopause) it was a very risky procedure. The nurse at my Doctor's surgery advised me that if I went ahead with the Flu jab she would need to use a large amount due to my fat basket size and that would result in the older people in the waiting room not being able to have their flu jabs. I told her that older people shouldn't even be allowed to leave the house let alone use up the flu jab supplies, so they should stay home until the coronavirus went away, and then only come out if absolutely essential. I bravely had the jab and was advised of the after affects, so I went home and told Mrs MH that the kitchen refit would have to go on hold for a while longe while I recuperated. It's been 5 days since my medical procedure and I'm not quite back to normal yet, so I've advised Mrs MH that I had better rest for another week and then review the situation before starting the kitchen. I don't want you guys praising me for being a hero, because others go through the same procedure (although they aren't as large as me with so many medical issues). Thank you in advance for your good wishes. |

All I can say is I am pleased you are back. The board has been really quite dull without you and you enourmous contribution.
Mrs MH is lucky to have you and your commitment to improving your home environment can only be admired. Please dont go away for so long again, as the court jester we cannot go without you in these trying times. I would much rather talk about your kitchen than the C word, you do more for my mental health tha you know! |

Glad you came through it relatively unscathed, I too had this procedure a week ago and have only just returned to normal, that said DW did have the pleasure of bringing my food and beverage to me in bed. That said she was a bit rough with the bed bath!

I think you maybe need a holiday to completely recover, can never be too careful. We need you back to full health before advising us on the behaviour of the elderly. Can’t have you saying something outrageous, like they can listen to music after 1970, because you’re compromised 😄

You truly are a brave brave boy Mickey, I think you should rest up for a decent amount of time so you can fully recuperate.

Enough of this "enormous contribution" nonsense.
He told me that it was just a little prick. Mick
