Day 6 - Saturday 9th December - Cinderella's Royal Table and Florida Mall
>>> BACK TO DAY 5 <<<
Index is here This morning the snot was immense. We went back and forth on whether to go anywhere today, but we had a Cinderella’s Royal Table reservation which was prepaid, so we decided to take an Uber to Magic Kingdom. It was COLD. Eden had her Sofia the first dress on and a blanket and she was cold. I was wearing one of the dresses I’d bought from the Dress Shop and I was cold too. It was raining, which didn’t help matters! The Uber dropped us at the ticket and transportation centre (I forgot they did that!) and we waited for three monorails to whip by before there was space for us. We were soon in a very soggy Magic Kingdom and I was happy to see that we didn’t have to clear security again after doing it before getting on the monorail. We headed for the castle and checked in for CRT. I didn’t really want to leave the buggy outside as it was still raining and it doesn’t have a rain cover, so we folded it right down and put it in Amy’s bag. Hooray! Eden enjoyed having her picture taken with Cinderella and a kind cast member helped knot up the neck of Eden’s dress so that it fit her a little better. Cinderella reassured Eden that Suzi and Perla would put the final stitches in later... Of course she had also kicked off her shoes by this point, so Cinderella promised her some glass slippers too. "Cinderella! Look! Mouse!" We were soon called up to our table, which was perfect! Right by the window, with a view of Fantasyland. On our way in, Eden saw Aurora who is her current favourite. She was between tables and I said to Eden “come on. Aurora will come and see you in a little while” as I know people get funny about kids so much as looking at characters before their turn. Aurora was SO SWEET. She leaned down to Eden’s level and said “hey princess! I’ll come and see you really soon, ok?” She didn’t have to do that and it was so appreciated. So, the first princess who came to us was Snow White. She was lovely. Eden asked her when Aurora was coming... haha. Thankfully Snow White saw the funny side. Next up was Aurora, who as soon as she came over said “see! I told you I’d be back really soon!” Eden absolutely adores Aurora. She was the first princess she met in Disneyland Paris back when she was about 6 months old and I think some part of her remembers as she's always SO happy to see Aurora. The two of them compared dresses and had a lovely chat. After Aurora came Ariel. Ariel is my favourite and Eden knows it, so she loves Ariel too. After Ariel came Jasmine. Eden had never even heard of her, but she was an unexpected highlight. Eden went ahead and booped her on the nose (yeah...) and Jasmine though this was hysterical! They were booping eachother on the noses for a couple of minutes and Jasmine even came back after her next table for another boop. So, there you go. You don't get escorted out of Magic Kingdom for booping a princess on the nose... We finished up breakfast and went over for our 1040 - 1140 Seven Dwarves Mine Train fastpass... only to find that it was actually booked for 1040-1140PM! PAY ATTENTION LAURA! Needless to say, we cancelled those as there was no way in hell that we were going to be in Magic Kingdom at that time of night. We had another fastpass for Enchanted Tales with Belle, so went over to there. Thankfully this fastpass was correct and we were soon funneled in. We didn't volunteer Eden for a part as she doesn't do a great job of standing still, but when it came to pictures with Belle, a lovely cast member came and got her and took her to have her picture taken, which was really appreciated. After Enchanted Tales, which I thought was absolutely fantastic, we noticed that Magic Kingdom was BUSY. Just like, people everywhere. Coming here on a Saturday wasn't my first choice, but it was the only day that we could get CRT breakfast, so it was what it was. It was also pretty cold although no longer raining, so we decided to have one more go on the Carousel and then head out to get an Uber. All in the name of warmer clothes... After riding the horsies again, we went back to the Ticket and Transportation Centre to get our Uber. Another Uber family and another car seat that Eden was excited to ride in. That was until about five minutes into the journey when she totally passed out... About forty minutes later we arrived at the Florida Mall. I'm not going to bore you with the details of our shopping. Highlights were Carlo's Bakery, Bubbleology and Kipling. Lowlights were how ill Eden was feeling by this point. We decided to walk over the road to Target to stock up om medications and such. We ended up with $100 worth of "stuff", including Pop Tarts, coffee and Cat & Jack clothes for Eden. Eden also got her first ride in a Target "cart". After Target, we called (another!) Uber and headed back to the hotel. Eden was totally wiped out by this point, so with a dose of ibuprofen and paracetamol down her neck she went to sleep and we weren't far behind her. >>> ON TO DAY 7 <<< Index is here

Bless Eden's little cotton socks. She can still smile, when beginning to feel rotten. Your photos are great, especially the princesses.

Your CRT meal looked great and it sure looked like Eden enjoyed meeting all the princesses even if she wasn't feeling 100%. I hope you all had a good night's sleep, ready for the next day.

Aw what a lovely CRT experience, I bet you're glad you kept the reservation, Eden was a trooper! Lovely interaction with the Princesses, it made me laugh that Eden asked Snow White when Aurora would be coming!
