Anyone used Executive Florida Villas?

They seem to own a tonne of large villas on Championsgate communities that come up on HomeAway, but get a few rough reviews of poor management and cleaning services amongst all the good reviews.

Anyone ever used them before? Thanks

The villa we have stayed in for the last three years use Executive Florida Villas as their management company. We have rented directly with the owner not through E.F.V. The villa has always been very clean, however, apart from the first time, the pool needed attention. Once we contacted the management company and also advised the owner, they sorted out the situation in a timely manner.
As ex villa owners, we would always recommend renting directly from the owner. It is in the owner's interest to keep their management company on the ball, after all, it is the owner's reputation that is at stake.

Executive Florida Villas will be the management company not the owner of the villas, the villas will be owned by many individual owners.

We have also booked a villa through Home and Away which is managed by Executive Villas Florida. We have read a number of bad reviews about them since booking, particularly regarding Andy Booth so thinking of cancelling. Just not sure.

As someone has already said the majority of owners rely heavily on their management company to be on the ball as they want to ensure that any problems will be sorted out quickly. It helps to put the guests minds at rest that they can fully enjoy their holiday.

Thanks all. Sorry, I didn't mean to say owned, I meant managed by EFV. I don't really want to book through a management company, much prefer owners, but so many are with companies now I'm struggling to find direct.

We need an 8 bedroom house, so maybe more difficult to find?

It’s ok we know that you meant managed by...I think we just wanted to say from an owners perspective that our management companies are key in delivering a wonderful stay for our guests. If the reviews are bad saying about the management company then I would worry about how responsive they would be to guests issues.

I would put a request in the villa section as there are a few owners with 8 bedrooms which you can filter out too!

Good luck with your search!

I saw a lot of villas being marketed via EFV when I was looking and to be honest, a lot appeared to be dupluctaes or too good to be true pricing, especially when coupled with the reviews available online. In the end I went with debbies villas instead

My son has booked with them, with Andy, and I’m not too sure after reading the reviews but to be honest we rented from a private individual last time - UK owner - and it was filthy and the pool had lots of problems. The villa owner couldn’t have cared less and said the management company were their friend so we were lying, even when I sent photos. They just ignored emails and phone calls as did the management company.

A bedroom door jammed with the baby inside the room in his cot, management refused to come out saying the baby must have climbed out of his cot, jammed the door and climbed back in! They only came when my son said he was going to call the fire service or kick the door in, whichever was quickest. Hopefully they won’t be that bad.
