Pixie Dust for my Mum :(

Hiya,

I'm not sure if you guys saw my thread a couple of weeks ago about my mum being taken into hospital with fluid on her lungs.
She got discharged on Wednesday evening but the journey isn't over yet

My mum had breast cancer 20 years ago and has been having loads of tests over the past couple of weeks. They think she may either have secondary breast cancer or primary lung cancer. They drained 4litres of fluid from her left lung and has to have key hole surgery next week or the week after to try and reinflate the lung. It got crushed from having so much fluid around it for so long. They are going to take a biopsy at the same time to see whether it's lung cancer.

She has just been called for a breast scan today at 3:30. The breast doctor on Wednesday felt both breasts and said her left one feels bumpy but that could be the implant as they obviously never feel like a normal breast. They want to see if anything is hiding underneath the implant.

I feel so sick and wondered if we could have some pixie dust 😢

A few people on here sent me private messages when I was asking about the fluid so thought I'd update on what's happening now xxxx

Oh dear, so sorry to read that DM isn't well. It sounds like the doctors are trying to get on top of things. I hope that Mum's scan goes well and that she will soon be on the road to recovery. Big hugs to both of you. Here's some very special

It's really hard at the moment as mum doesn't want the family to know the concerns the doctors have until we know for sure so I am exploding trying not to talk about it too much the Dibb is great for support as usual

They said we should know today if they think it's secondary so I will be sure to let u all know this evening xxx
