Is it just me finding 2017 a bit expensive

as title really it seems the combination of crappy exchange rate and general Disney price increases have made on-site somewhat expensive for next summer... might have to think the unthinkable and look at somewhere else

No, we are looking at offsite for next October as the prices for OKW are way more than we would pay. Unfortunately, we were spoilt with an absolutely cracking deal the last time we went (Oct 2012 - 18 nts) - £2,600 WITH 14 day tickets for OKW compared with £4734 with tickets for Oct 2017 I know this was 4 years ago but it's an increase of £2,134 and if these prices don't drop by a significant amount, we'll go offsite (and enjoy trying all the restaurants I've been reading about in food trip reports )

I know what you mean, my head is spinning deciding which resort to book. When I come close to deciding I just can't seem to make the financial commitment! It's tough because we've gotten used to staying onsite now with full DDP, now it seems we'd be getting less for more whenever we get a quote.

We went in Oct 2014, 5 of us, 2 weeks in a 1 bed villa at OKW, price including disney tickets was £4400. I have just booked this week to go Oct 2017, same accommodation and tickets, and the price is £5200. £800 of a difference which given there is 3 years inbetween I don't actually think the price rise was too bad

We have decided to go to Mexico instead as we can't justify the extra price increase next year...

See you there Tink77. We go October 12th 2017 for 15 night at OKW. Although I am toying with the idea of going to Beach Club instead. Less space but seems a nicer resort and I am really not liking the unconfirmed Pre Reg thing for OKW. Is it bothering you?
