3 weeks including few nights in NYC, advice needed please

Hi, we're going to go back next summer and we want to have a bit more time (previously had 2 weeks) include Universal as well as WDW this time as the kids are older, plus a trip to New York for 3/4 nights...

We also want to stay in a villa again in Florida as we really like the space, a pool and also quite like doing own cooking every other night (plus it saves a bit of money)...

What would people suggest accommodation wise? Have anyone done anything similar? e.g. A Hotel or Air BnB in NYC? Then 2 weeks in private villa in Florida Saturday to Saturday then additional 3 nights at hotel in Universal?

I think I definitely want to start the trip in NYC and finish in Florida...

We flew to NYC last August and stayed in the Salisbury hotel which was fab and perfect for our family of 5. After 3 nights we flew to MCO with Delta (flights were released the November before), and had 12 nights at CBR.
So our main flights were London to New York, then Orlando to London. Found by doing searches on sky scanner.

Had a great time and was lovely to relax in a very clean looking Orlando, after the hustle and bustle of New York.
