Alamo brit's, gutted
Been away from home with work this past week. Rubbish Internet at hotel
Just home this evening and thought... must check the car hire prices. Oh my goodness they have shot up I had been looking at a standard or intermediate from alamo brit's collecting from Disney car care for 16 days. In September. Previously was 350 now 420 Should I just go for it or wait and see if they drop prices or can anyone recommend another car hire? It has always been alamo brit's i have used in the past and always collect from Disney car care. Help!

I've just checked for the dates we are going.
We have paid £570 for a full size SUV 15 days in September. For the same dates the smallest car is now over £600. Wow!

As long as you can cancel without paying a fee I'd book now, you can always rebook if you find it cheaper later on

Have a look at Avis via Avios. Even without using any points the full cash price for a group D medium is £315 for 16 nights in September
I've booked ours for next year, got an intermediate SUV for 16 nights, £255 and some points |

I was looking yesterday and couldn't believe the prices. I was looking back to see who I booked with in previous years and had a look at uscarhire/
Their prices were the cheapest I found at the moment. |

Unfortunaly his prices have also shot up. So much so I was wondering if he forgot to convert dollars to Pounds in some cases A 7 seater van almost tripled for my dates and is now way more expensive than any of the competition.
Lets hope this is just a temp blip by the car hire firms. |

Getting Excited

I have always used Alamo and booked car hire at least 2-3 months in advance at very competitive prices. As the high season of June/July approaches I alway check the prices again and they are always at least double the rate I paid 2 months earlier. In my experience therefore book as early as possible.
