Route Advice from MCO to 192/27 area ?
Just thinking about route from the airport - Reading varoius threads regarding unmanned tolls etc, looking at Google maps there seems to be a couple of options, however a few tolls.. Can anyone please recommend me a route and how much the tolls would be ? (going to have to hunt for some quarter's... Car is booked via Alamo... Thanks in advance.

I think there other threads that might even have pictures of the tolls/roads... but here's what we did...
South onto 417 Through 2 manned tolls (so you can use notes and get change) - can't recall the exact amounts but something like $1.50 and $0.75 Left 417 at junction 2, near Celebration - the exit has an unmanned toll (75 cents) so you will need quarters (or use Sunpass) That will bring you out on 192, and head along west until you get to 27 - no further tolls |

I sure Mick will be along sometime today
He has pictures of the route and all the tolls I've printed them off for our trip next year as it's our first time driving and we are staying at Highgrove Used shuttles and taxis on previous visits

You may be referring to me Yordaman.
Even though I'm a regular traveller from MCO to the area in question I still always use the 417 on the first day after a tiring travel day. Take the 417 south exit from MCO and after a couple of miles it will split into 417 south and 417 north. You will see this plaza pretty soon after the split. If you want to pay cash just keep right and pay. Give the attendant no more than a $20 bill and ask for change. You'll get a load of quarters. Don't stress about getting change at MCO. Through another manned toll like the above then leave the 417 at j2 Celebration Avenue and through this unmanned plaza. 75 cents (at March) in the basket. Turn right and pretty soon you're on the 192. I can't remember if the manned tolls were $1.50 or $1.75 but total around $4. Or simply drive through the Sunpass lanes. The cameras will take a photo of your plate and Alamo will charge your CC (full details in the DIBB toll pass guide.) Mick

We don't use the toll roads, we use the back way which eventually joins the 27/192.
yes a little slower, but a nice interesting journey.

I don't know about the back way but we always use the I-4, not a popular route but suits us.

As you say Anna-Marie I-4 is popular enough with regular drivers who have visited dozens of times but I got the impression that the OP was not so regular so I suggested the much quieter 417.
