Alamo Brits - amending reservation?

I want to book car hire for our trip this Oct and prices are good with Alamo Brits at the moment. I can't book flights yet but i would like to have car hire in place now before prices sky rocket. Is it easy to amend an Alamo Brits reservation if I need to (or even cancel it if we don't end up going at all?)?

I'm hoping we will fly into MCO and get the Magical Express to OKW and then we will pick up the car at Disney Car Care Centre a couple of days later and we will drop off car at MCO. However there is a possibility we may fly into Miami and out of MCO - would it be a major deal to change the reservation with Alamo Brits from DCCC to MCO (we'd also be extending the rental period).

Thanks!

it's no longer possible to amend a booking ... well it will allow you to, but basically it will take the whole rental amount from your CC and refund the original amount (but you'll still get the whole amount taken from your bank account at time of amendment)

also be aware that when you amend, it's the price of the day that will be used. So if the price has gone up several hundred quids since you originally booked, you will not retain the original rate, you'll be billed based on the rate of the amendment day (ouch ! )

As above.

I get hit within minutes for the new charge but it tends to take 3 days for the original charge to get refunded.
Fine if the prices are dropping which they currently are for Oct. I have had £6 back already and I am about to change it again and get another £5 back. Every little counts.
