I have to say I have never understood why it has taken to long, what will all the voice changing tecnology around.

It will be difficult for those who are hard of hearing, esp if they stop using jestures along side.

Mazzy - knowing Disney, they'll come up with closed caption or signers I would have thought. And if you indicated to Mickey that you are hearing impaired I'm pretty sure he would respond accordingly. Watching that video he seems to do the same old gestures as he always did. When we were visiting Prince Caspian there was a little girl in front of us who was deaf - guess what? Caspian was able to sign which thrilled the little girl no end.
