Quickest/cheapest way of travelling from MCO to Windsor Hills

Hi Guys,

It's our first trip to Florida in 3 weeks. We're a group of 8 and have hired an 8 seater. Obviously this isn't going to be big enough to get all of us and our luggage to and from the airport. My initial thought was for some of us to take the rental and luggage and the others to get a cab but wondering how expensive this would be and what the alternatives are?

Does anyone have any suggestions on the quickest/cheapest options?

Thanks in advance

Hire a small economy car from MCO and drop it off the next day at Disney car centre? One day hire will be about £30-£40

Edit to say you can get 1 day hire from as little as £26

Taxi transfers are pricey. We are a party of 6 and have hired a 7 seater but noway would we all fit in with 6 cases plus hand luggage.

We are staying just over the road from you at Windsor Palms. We priced up transfers and it was over $100 each way. In the end we decided on a big and small car. I toyed with the idea of just hiring 1 to get us to villa but we decided it would be handy to have two cars (other adults are my parents) We figured it gives them some independence if they want to escape the grandkids

The cheapest way is to do 2 trips.

Thanks guys,

It's a Toyota Sienna or similar so don't think there's much chance of all 8 of us getting in with the luggage as well. I didn't fancy doing two trips to be honest, we land 5pm(ish) and wanted to get to the villa and settled in as quick as possible.

I think a taxi for some of the party might be our best option...is it simply a case of hailing one at MCO or will we need to book in advance?

I would go for a small second car for the duration of the holiday. Will all eight of you want to go to the same places every day? The extra car would give lots of flexibility to you holiday for not much more than two taxi trips.
